The first meeting of Standardization Council (SC) in its 4th term of office took place in Warsaw on February 5th 2016. Members of The Council are chosen through elections and nominations - once every four years. The term of the current SC will last until 2018.

On 1-2 February 2016 two high representatives of AENOR (La Asociación Española de Normalización y Certificación), national standards body of Spain, paid a visit to the PKN.

Polish Committee for Standardization since many years has been striving for the best possible cooperation with standards bodies of eastern neighbours. Such cooperation is in the interest of Polish companies operating in those markets.

On December 9 at the headquarter of DIN in Berlin it has been signed the Memorandum of Understanding between the Polish Committee for Standardization and the German Institute for Standardization (DIN).

The „New standards of hygiene and food safety in EU” conference took place in Warsaw on 2nd of December 2015. The event was organized by the Polish Committee for Standardization and the Polish Pest Control Federation was a conference partner.
